the air con on every room (very usefull in Cairns as the heat is very humid), great staff, free airport shuttle, bed confortable, and very cheap ! -

Nicky, homey, smaller backpacker type of place. I booked a single room and I loved it. Not a party type place. And away from downtown. Best price for a single room. -
staff were realy helpful and friendly. Everything was kept clean and the hostel had a good feel to it.The free breakfast was a good way to start the day.

Excellent and very helpful staff! There was something fun going on every night such as drinking games, reptile shows, cheap bbqs etc. The people and music is quite loud (which is fun, people are happy), but it gets quiet after midnight. just really good service and everyone there was really helpful. plus the place just has a great atmosphere and I dont usually like backpacker hostels so that is saying something.

The hostel is more a like a family you haven't met yet. The staff is awesome and very helpfull with anything and can even organise your trips for you.
The rooms are spacious and clean without bunkbeds! That was a first timer for me :)
They run free shuttles downtown and you get a free meal in the local pub as well.

Fantastic hostel, spotlessly clean, all staff incredibly friendly and full of great advice - also great pool, kitchen, free WiFi in reception (hard to find in Cairns) lovely spot at end of esplanade, pleasant 5-10 min walk along esplanade to city and free dinner at backpacker pub!
