  We have been using the Balinese for 10 years and it has always been a good stay. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The staff have been great and have even taken personal time to help. The location is great, close enough to central Cairns, but far enough away where you don't have to put up with the noise and traffic. This hotel/motel was very clean and well laid out (as good as a new building) with swimming pool, breakfast area with the option for a cooked meal - continental provided, spacious outdoor lounge and BBQ area. Three car hire firms a five minute walk away. We have already recommended this hote - Queen's Court had atmosphere. The areas for relaxing are plentiful, aesthetically pleasing and well designed. From the clean rooms equipped with TV, fridges, hair dryer, AC to the included breakfast, this hotel is very budget friendly. Although on a main thoroughfare our room was toward the back of the hotel and noise was not a problem. Exceptionally friendly staff concluded an excellent stay!
