Stay there for meals and one can skip the ones at more picturesque Windy Points. - The hotel is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Staff were particularly friendly and efficient. Food was innovative, tasty and attractively presented. Excellent live music in foyer. Convenient location - good for shops, museums and walking along the river bank - green surroundings in minutes.   During our first stay we stayed in an apartment on the 6th floor which was quiet even though it faced the main street and had it had a great layout with all the required amenities. Very friendly staff especially the Reception staff Creina, Lucy and Taylor. Although in the centre of Adelaide the Hotel was quiet. Would certainly stay there again if we were in Adelaide. We were with another couple who also liked the hotel. Also has Andre's Cucina & Polenta Bar in the building - fantastic!

  Great hostel with wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. The Wednesday night BBQ and killer pool competition was so much fun. I loved this hostel because of how nice and accommodating the overall atmosphere was.   The cottage had a lot of charm and was very lovely; it's situated close to the restaurants on O'Connell Street and only a short hop to the Festival Theatre. - i loved staying at buxton manor it was quiet and we were able to relax in the peace and quiet and it was close to all the places that we wanted to go

  The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The apartment was spacious. Care was taken to explain how the parking system worked, and this was easy to understand. The view to the coast was marvellous. The wet areas were sparking clean and the room facilities were modern and easy to use.   Unfortunately there was a mix-up with the backpackers in receiving my online reservation, however the staff member rectified this by upgrading my stay to a larger room with an ensuite which I was grateful for.
