I and my husband needed a little getaway and time off from our two kids. After browsing for the best deal we embarked upon Beaconlight Guesthouse. I think it was within average price for most bed and breakfast locations around the area. The location was clean, rooms were clean and i would not complain about the breakfast, although would have preferred hot breakfast but they provide you with yogurt, granola, pastries, coffee, tea, muffins. Direct view of Inner Sea at Cape Cod and Lighthouses. Freindly. They lent us two bicycles for free which made our holiday good fun. This is excellent value hotel. C 15 minute walk past unique wood built homes in all sorts of styles to centre of town. Whale watching dunes lighthouses. Excelent location. Free Parking, Very courteous and genuinely friendly reception. High marks to young man (with bling in his ear) who was very efficient, courteous helpful and professional.

The location was fantastic. There was a beach right across from the hotel. The view was fantastic. The hotel is right on the bus route and within walking distance from town. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Just could not beat the location. Would definitely stay here again. -

We stayed there for 2 nights. It was a great experience. We felt this hotel has a very special athmosphere.
At our arrival the hotel owners came out of the hotel to welcome us and to help us to park our car (it is bit less space to park the car right at the hotel, but this wasn't really an issue)
The Benchmark Inn is a small hotel with just a few rooms. Everything was clean. The room has a lot little extras.

The rooms are modern and very nicely decorated. Everything was clean and crisp. The beds were soooo comfortable, therefore a great night sleep!!! Do to the rainy weather, we were not able to enjoy the pool (that looked cleaned and welcoming), fire and private beach across the street. The staff were very nice and attentive. There was no odor in room (no mold, no smoke, etc.). Looking forward to staying there again!!!
