We originally booked the efficiency which did not have a beach view. They offered an upgrade to a beach view room, but it was slightly smaller. We wound up taking one of the town houses, which was considerably more money, but was well worth it. The staff worked it out for us and was very kind. -

Based on the reviews here, we had very low expectations.
Ruschmeyer's exceeded them in every respect. Friendly staff,
spotlessly clean, comfortable room, nice breakfast. Quiet, but we had an
end room and were there mid-week. It's a simple, funky, 60s style
"bungalow" place, not luxurious. If your expectations are set
correctly, you will enjoy it.

The staff was excellent from the doorman to the pool staff. The front desk was helpful. Erica at the bar was attentive and made you feel like you've been showing up there for years. The gentleman who provide fires outside for two nights was a very nice man.

The staff was excellent. We had a problem finding a parking space and Crystal was amazing. She came into the parking lot and actually called people to ask them to move their cars to make more space available. She did in fact get us a spot. Crystal went above and beyond to help us and NEVER stopped smiling.

Great spa, great setting, very, very nice and helpful staff. Very good food except for the Gurney burger--dry and tasteless. Nice rooms, great views, comfortable beds. Very clean and comfortable baths. It was a wonderful place to escape and relax. -
