  The hotel is only about a year old per the staff so everything is new, clean, modern decor etc. Location was useful for us being close to relatives but also major highway routes and about 1.5 miles to the nearest Metro station to head into attractions in DC. The area itself is very modern and newly constructed. Complimentary breakfast buffett - The stuff were more than awesome. Everything is clean and organised. Location is useful, there is a bus station 10 min walk distance which leads u to the all attractions area in DC. There are plenty of shopping stores and restaurants around the Hotel. The area where the Hotel is located is modern and has a lot of landscape. I really do encourage anyone who wants to make a trip to DC to stay at Hyatt Falls church Merrifield

  Superb staff, friendly and helpful. A short walk to the metro station. Excellent rates. Free parking. Clean well-appointed rooms. We had car trouble and the staff extended our checkout and was supportive of our needs. We will stay here the next time we are in the DC area. - Close to dc Metro train -- about 200 yards to station.   For the money, this is hands down, the best hotel in the area. On top of great price-parking was free and there was a shuttle to the mall and Metro. We were greeted by Stella who made us feel comfortable and welcome. She did an amazing job as well as the rest of the staff!
