Decline in the offering. Breakfast was poor not 5star standard. The lodge manager was rude to the point off offencive to staff even when I pointed out I was a guest and expect better from him. Food was poor and not value for money in the lodge either
Fantastic location and staff we had a 5 star holiday. A really unique location a very good choice for a short beak in winter. Hotel management were excellent in response to our rearranged stay.
We could not keep to our originally booked dates due to a government event at the hotel. We were informed of this 3 days before our departure from the uk. This came from the hotel groups booking office who did not have the correct travel information to change our plans.
I liked the the room design and the hotel in general. so comfort and good to clear the mind. the atomosphere is brilliant.
It has good activities but expenssive. the restaurants should be better and provides quality food. the transportation in the island exclusive to the hotels so no chance to go far except mountain bike and safari car. no Grocery nearby.

Peacful location away from the city in an island with nature reserve that makes a perfect wellness sanctuary and but the mind in a relaxation mode. To get to the Island is easy either by driving and get to the jetty and then experience the boat trip or flying by Rotana Jet either from Abu Dhabi or Dubai. There are many activities that can be done in the resort such as, Safari, Mountain Biking, Archery, Snorkeling, Kayaking and Teens & Kids club. It is also worth mentioning enjoying the exotic indulgence treatment and massage by Anantara Spa.

No privacy in villa area
I loved the island and the resort. It is worth a visit.
However the fishing activity that is offered by Water Sport Centre was kind of boring. My husband and I spent 3 hours on the boat and we caught just one fish. I believe that the staff can make it as nice fish trip, but they were not willing to do that.
the hotel is nice, the thing impressed me was the staff; they are so friendly and always there to help, they try to make the stay better. i really loved it.

The excellent, warm welcome by the staff. The stunning sea view and the relaxing sound of the waves crashing.
The light from the a/c control panel was so bright that it kept us awake the first night. This needs to be looked at, as it does interrupt a relaxing night's sleep.

- No night activities - Location is too far from the city - the resort become too dark at night, no lights and you cant read the signs. - the sea is full of stones, but the sea of the resort next to it is very clear

Plenty of activities but for each of them you have to pay on top of the room. The sand bags on the seaside are ugly and do create a bad impression.

Relaxed atmosphere, plenty of activities on offer on a daily basis, a lot to choose from be it relaxing in the spa or an early morning bicycle trek. Food was fantastic in each of the outlets, great variety and choice on offer. Definitely a weekend away where peace and quiet is the order of the day.

Fabulous stay. The combination of activities with the highlight of the safari is just wonderful. The pool is great in particular for families, the beach nice. The resort is excellently managed and help offert were needed.

The highlight of the trip was the Nature drive where we were amazed at the numbers and types of animals we observed.
The website advertises stay 2 nights and get a 3rd free - at no point was I able to take advantage of this offer.
