The new managers had just taken over and had many issues to deal with. They made us feel very welcome and accomodated our needs well. The hotel needs some TLC but is comfortable and the rooms were adequate for the price. Overall, a nice place to stay near to the city (15 Min) walk or bus directly outside, generous parking area. -

there was some road noise but I suspect they are in a conservation area so double glazing is not possible

Varm og hyggelig velkomst. Imøtekommende og tok selv initiativ for å formidle opplysninger om severdigheter etc. Hjemmekoselig atmosfære og veldig reine og fine rom. Very friendly and warm welcome to the accommodation, and it was nice to receive an email from the guest house prior to arrival asking for any special dietary or arrival requirements. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Hosts are very knowledgable of the local area and happy to help. Food was excellent. Would recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a relaxing stay close to York city centre with the Minster being around a 10min walk away.

We picked up the keys and were delighted when we saw the apartment, which is actually a little cottagey type house, overlooking Clifton Green. It was very modern, clean and simple.
