This is a rarity, a lovely small hotel, locally managed and with oodles of character. The staff care about their jobs and wish to see that their guests have a wonderful time. Top this off with a great kitchen, enviable room appointments, nice bathrooms. It's a winning mix for an airport hotel. So much more desirable than the big concrete boxes

Nothing is too much trouble, the hotel itself is very welcoming and the bedrooms are lovely and comfortable. I love staying here and would chose it everytime.

The Bulls Head Lodge was perfectly situated in the lovely suburb of Hale, with access to Manchester Airport in less than 10 minutes. It is a traditional pub, with the hotel accommodation in a self-contained annex, and ample parking. There are pleasant views from the rooms across the bowling green. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with good facilities and excellent showers. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant in the main bar area serves the most wonderful food, and I really have to say "Compliments t the Chef". The service is fast and efficient and the food is served hot and with a smile.

We loved everything about this hotel from the building its self to the beautiful bathroom. We got upgraded to a bigger room due to a cancellation with no extra charge. The room was spacious, spotless and very quiet for sleeping. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful sorting our taxi for us. We didn't try the food as we went out all evening, but other guests we spoke to said it was wonderful. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a really nice hotel. Close to the metrolink and the nightlife in Sale (Bars, Restaurants etc). We only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer. The owner and staff are really friendly, the place is spotlessly clean, breakfast was good, beds were comfy. Really good value for money. No hesitation in making a full recommendation

I liked the simple and elegant decor of my room. The guest house is charming, quite clean and well cared for. Tony struck an almost ideal balance between being available and unobtrusive. I liked the fact that I could be in Manchester city centre via tram within approximately 30 mins. I had a lovely, comfortable stay and would certainly recommend Cornerstones to anyone who needs temporary accommodations in/near Manchester.

She made every effort for my stay to be as easy as possible, even leaving the keys at the hospital for me to collect from there. She has a lot of guests who stay to be close by the Abbey Pines so can give lots of advice for visitors! -
