  me and my boyfriend stayed at the hale guest house for one night, our stay there was amazing. we where made feel welcome straight away by Billy who greeted us at the door and showed us up to our room. breakfast was great and served when suits you. Debbie and Bill are great hosts and make you feel right at home, we also made two very good friends c... hva folk sier » alled Benson and Bonnie...big friendly giants! we wish to return to the guest house very soon and would recommend it to everyone. - Billy is a kind and friendly host. It only takes 10 minutes and 2 pounds on the 82A bus (direction Runcorn) to get to the Hale Village Post Office and then it is a 2 minute walk to the guesthouse. Best food close by is the Wellington pub - they have free WI-FI as does the guesthouse. Billy gave me a lift to the airport in the morning.

  This is so good a B&B that you'll find yourself thinking of any excuse to return! We booked because we couldn't find any vacancies closer to City centre-well thank goodness!! Ian & Karen have really thought this one out-in all respects. Their friendly(but not patronising or fussing) attitude helped us relax & feel at ease as soon as we arrived.   Due to a change in circumstances regarding attending an event in Widnes, we decided to make a return visit to the Cottage (previous stay in July 2013). Only booked mid afternoon for staying that evening. Phoned and enquired if we could arrive slightly later than the published time as we were travelling from Scotland.
