  A very friendly 'home from home ' hotel. As a woman staying on my own i felt safe and secure. The staff were welcoming and friendly at all times and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service all round and breakfast were superb. It will always be my first choice of hotel when staying in this area. - Very good value for money. The breakfast wa... hva folk sier » s excellent, as was our evening meal in the Mouldy Fig Restaurant (the food was superb and extremely reasonably priced). Staff very courteous. Would highly recommend this hotel. - The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The food excellent and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Lovely position and grounds and although we didnt go into the club we could have booked through reception.

  The lady at reception (unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was originally from South Africa) was incredibly helpful and informative. A pleasure to deal with and provided great customer service - she is a total asset to the hotel. - Ease to get to Southampton and small towns near by, the new forest, etc. Breakfast was excellent, and kids ... hva folk sier » not paying for meals a very sensible offer. Going through some renovations but didn't feel any noise from it.

  The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Would def recommend this hotel, and would use it again myself. - Pretty good actually, free swimming pool, gym facilities... hva folk sier » and steamroom.I had a very relax weekend in the hotel.
