This family-run boutique bed and breakfast is located in the heart of Cardiff. The Dexby Townhouse is just 10 minutes' walk from the city centre. Guests can park on the main road and side streets surrounding the property, which is free and without time restrictions. Each elegant, individually designed room at The Dexby features a private bathroom with a power shower, free toiletries, and fluffy towels. Tea/coffee-making facilities and a hairdryer are also provided. The Dexby Townhouse is just a 20-minute walk from Cardiff’s centre and Cardiff Rail Station. Cardiff University and Bute Park are just 10 minutes’ walk away.

We had an amazing stay. The room was lovely, spacious and spotless. We had a very nice breakfast with plenty of choices. The hotel is very well located, just a ten minutes walk away from Cardiff city centre. Lots of restaurants and amenities close by. Cardiff Castle is only five minutes away and it's well worth a visit! Susana and everybody at the hotel are really helpful and always ready to give you advice and information about any queries you might have. We're only sorry that we couldn't stay.
alle vurderinger » The hosts, James and Maria were most hospitable and made us feel welcomed. The room was large, very comfortable and very quiet. The included continental breakfast was varied and excellent quality and the optional hot breakfast was delicious. The townhouse is a comfortable 20 minute walk through a lovely extensive park adjoining a river to the centre of Cardiff. There are a number of restaurants within a five minute walk that cater for all types of food. We will be staying here again if next in . You're a bit early with the email booking .com I am still laying in a comfy bed. Room basic but clean and more importantly free wifi. For the money excellent value . Defo recommend , I was just to send this until I have just had breakfast ..... Wow for an extra £4 a full English with a pot of filtered coffee. I should really say this place is rubbish because the more people that find out about it the less chance I would have to get in:) seriously don't look anywhere else in Cardiff !. Myself and partner stayed here as we had tickets for Rhianna at the Milennium Stadium. The location was perfect, only a 10 minute walk into the centre. We stayed in room 9, the decor was absolutely beautiful, especially the bathroom. The staff were the most friendliest I have ever experienced and the cooked breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend, we had a lovely stay!!! Thank you. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was well maintained with a clean toilet and was very comfortable—more so than many other B&Bs I have stayed in. Dexby is well located and easily accessible to and from the city centre. Loved everything about my stay at Dexby. The pictures posted of the rooms did not justify—they were MUCH better in reality. Excellent location, fluffy towels and good quality bedlinnen- the type I use at home, so in the way the whole stay felt really homely, like staying at a friend's house. The WiFi is fast and has an excellent strength in the room. The cooked Welsh breakfast was superb. There is free parking available on the street in front of the house. The hosts especially Susana is very nice. It is my great pleasure to stay at her guest house. I will definitely do it again if I travel to Cardiff. The room is very clean and cozy, with a big window which I like a lot. The location is not hard to find and there's a park right next to it, a walk in the morning is refreshing. The B&B was in a great location 10 minute walk straight in to the main part of Cardiff, also with parking outside that is free. The room was absolutely brilliant, the bed was so comfy. The breakfast that was included was very good and overall the entire stay was excellent. Very friendly staff, very accommodating. About a 15 minute walk to the center, close to a beautiful park, quiet neighborhood. Lovely room, comfortable and nice size bathroom. If we ever get the chance to visit Cardiff again we will definitely stay here. The hotel was lovely , had a brilliant stay , would defo go back there , got no faults at all with the hotel ,wish we could of stayed longer , Cardiff is a nice place to visit loads to see and do and explore , pubs and shops are great .. While the room was impeccable, it's the kind and friendly staff that makes this cozy hotel memorable. Susanna was extremely helpful. Was upgraded on arrival (I had booked a single room but they put me in a lovely twin room). The shower was brilliant as were the other facilities. Very comfy bed. Excellent value for money. The friendly helpful staff, nothing was a problem. The location was great, just a 10 min walk thru the beautiful park and you're in the city centre, castle gates and Millenium Stadium. I had to leave. The check out time is 10.30, which can be a bit early. Nothing. Nothing. The check-in was not smooth - I would recommend giving an expected time of arrival. I had no problems at all with Dexby...It was lovely!. A good 20 -25 min walk to station. Nearby buses available. Small bathroom.. Weak shower stream. Room was a bit cold but weather outside was very cold.. Long walk to the city center. Water wasn't hot enough (shower facility). N/A. There was nothing to dislike. 15 min. walk to the city center and cardiff castle. when you walk on the stairs up and down, it make a lot of noise that can some times by annoying to the sleepers especially if you go out early or come late at night. The cooked breakfast was extra. Nothing. Well perhaps update the front door so it does not slam but that is netheir here nor there. It did not affect the stay at all. Rather hot in room, even with radiator turned off. no tissues (ah well)..can't have everything. Parking can be tricky. Having to pay extra for a full hot breakfast. Nothing -all excellent. Bit out of the town. English breakfast was lovely but does cost extra - if it was in the price would make it a more reasonable stay. Just wanted to point out that under the bed needed a good clean as there was old brochures and thick dust under it. Nothing at all. No communal space. Breakfast room only used for breakfast. Large window in single room made room cold at night when heating was switched off. Shower just lukewarm. the shower from the next room was A bit noisy, I thought it was A plane going over and as they woke early so did I. I couldn'T close the window once opened. nothing major though. Absolutely nothing. TV was slow - to get to the channels!. On road parking is ok if your early enough. Nothing. Nothing to dislike.
