My room was small (I did book a single room, so this was no surprise), but well organised. There was a share bathroom (between three rooms), but also a basin in my room. I loved the window, which had a large ledge - easily enough room to sit on. Loved the pillows!! And new mattresses coming in will make the beds even more comfy.

We liked everything! We booked largely on the basis of reviews we'd
read, and our experience bears out the numerous positive comments
we'd seen. Very comfortable, well maintained and spotlessly clean,
very good breakfast, owners welcoming and helpful. We didn't need to
go into city centre, but the bus service looks good. We tried one of the
pubs recommended by the owners (about 25 min walk) and had a very
enojoyable dinner.

We had a really good stay for the folk festival. The rooms were lovely, the beds super comfortable and the cooked breakfast definitely the spot in the morning. We would recommend the place to anyone wanting to stay a bit further out from the city center. As our destination was cherry Hinton hall it was perfect! -

Nice and very helpful staff, ready to make small, but significant favours (like offering an extra duvet or calling a taxi on a foggy early morning) when it matters the most. Clean premises, comfy bed, clean linens and towels. Rather small rooms, but intelligently arranged. A thumbs-up for the simple, but tasty breakfast (oh, les croissants! :)). Owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Bus stop straight across the road takes you into the heart of the city.
