The location of the hotel was excellent, the surrounding countryside and the views where second to none.The spa facilities where of a high standard we received excellent service. The staff where very helpful and friendly at the hotel and the spa. - I got engaged there so it coudnt have been bad and the expresion on her face when entering the room

Excellent value for money. Room was small and basic but also clean and comfortable exactly what we needed. Restraunt and bar facilities have recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Full Scottish breakfast served with tea or coffee was excellent and a massive portion. All staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. -

As we only stayed 1 night en route to the far North we don't feel we could make a valid judgement but we did enjoy our stay and the friendly welcome we got along with a hearty breakfast. Mine hosts were both very pleasant and very helpful, Would have no qualms about staying there again. -

We took the. Breakfast in the package. Food excellent and cooked fresh. Staff very friendly and helpful except for last morning Fri. On fri breakfast cold ask for poach egg had to ask second time took 25 minute. My sister asked for boiled egg never got it. Ask for bacon as none left and it was raw. No cups jugs teaspoons either. Service very poor

Friendly staff. Comfortable and very clean. We liked breakfast in the Malt & Myers next door. Again staff were very helpful and friendly and breakfast was lovely, particularly the porridge.
