Magnolia’s rooms are decorated in shades of red, orange and brown. Some rooms feature a private kitchenette, while others share a communal kitchen. All rooms have a private bathroom including a shower. Guests can make use of the barbecue facilities provided. A number of restaurants serving a range of local and international cuisines, can be found 5-minutes’ drive away. Wi-Fi facilities are offered and secure parking is available on site. Everything about the guest house was great. The apartment I had booked was so cosy and the service was superb. I have been recommending the place to friends since my return home. I am definately staying there again when next I go to Stellenbosch. Well this time I had my own private fridge, AND the ultimate luxury.....a bath WITH bubblebath! And watching the squirrels run past the room was precious. The room was lovely and the staff very accomodating.

I was in stellenbosch to do a course at the university, and the desk in the room and the availability of wi-fi was a great help. Beth was an excellent host and willing to listen and ask for advise, I wish all managers would do that, I also loved being served breakfast by the owner. The furniture - Love wooden furniture Full DSTV in the room Good quality coffee and food at breakfast Friendly and accommodating service. The room in which we stayed was very clean and spacious. Everything we needed was available to us. I would recommend to anyone couple. Dry breakfast is included in price, very handy, optional cooked breakfast Self catering facilities Fridge Clean & comfortable. We needed to be near the Mediclinic. Beth,the manager, could not have been nicer and more helpful. She was a real 'star'. Wonderful place!! I just felt at home. Great rooms, really nice and helpful staff, nice kitchenette for having breakfast. Value for money, friendly staff, well-stocked shared mini "kitchen", safe parking, comfortable room. Excellent breakfast and very friendly host. The quiet and homely atmosphere. Nice clean room and suburb. Great value for money. Breakfast was good. Friendly helpful staff. The previous time I stayed here I had an upstairs room, where I shared a fridge with other rooms. BUT, the only complaint I have for the groundfloor room was that it was quite noisy. I heard the washing machines, and the people next door had very strident voices, as it seems the husband was a little deaf. But that most probably would not be the norm. There was a white middle aged female who came in and went, using the VW caddy, never greets anyone and just looks at black guests like they are nothing, she should go, because she is going to dent the image of Magnloia. The bathroom had a smell as if renovations were recently done, but it wasn't a massive issue. There is internet available but you have to pay for it. Mosquitos. Was lovely place but bed was a bit small. Nothing really. Internet not included... Directions to use TV would be usefull. a bit noisy. 26 mosquito bites in 2 nights - at least they provided insect repellant but despite covering myself from head to foot I still got eaten alive :-(.
