On arrival we were welcomed by friendly and efficient staff. Our "dorm" room was a welcome surprise, the bedding was crisp and clean, the bed was invitingly comfortable. A lot more than what we expected, there were enough plugs and adapters even. Breakfast was the cherrie on top. The kitchen staff were accommodating and although it was a continental breakfast, special effort was made and we had freshly prepared fruit salad and savoury muffins as an addition. Overall I would recommend it ANYTIMe

Position, position. You can park you car and walk.to all the facilities, take the Wine Tram and eat the excellent restaurants or visit the many interesting galleries and shops in Main road. Very good value for money compared to the incredibly overpriced other accommodation in Franschhoek. BUT NB you get what you pay for.
This is not luxury but this leaves extra cash to eat out and enjoy the very pretty area. The staff were great and helpful and extremely friendly

BTW, don't come here without a car, it's a bit out of town, and everything exciting to do around Knysna is just that, around Knysna, not in it. And public transportation here is a joke (and not a very funny one for the locals that can't afford a car). -
