  I would recommend this hotel to anyone (not to anyone with cat allergies). The location of the hotel was brilliant, and everything of interested close by. We was never bothered by noise from the street. The breakfeast (served at the table) was standard (nothing at all to complain about). The hotel is in a great central location, really easy to find and is close to the main tram routes, supermarket and post office as well as popular attractions.   The warm welcome we received from Wendy at the reception desk was just the beginning of our very nice stay in Amsterdam at the Nesplein V.   The staff were probably the most helpful I have come across in 30 years of travelling the world. They even tracked us down by phone to tell us that a museum we thought closed at 9 was to close at 7. The decor of the hotel is great and although like all canal side town houses the rooms are small, they were well laid out and of a high quality. Our room was pretty small, but to be expected from a city centre hotel, especially in Amsterdam, however it was immaculately presented, beautifully decorated, and the bed was so comfortable we nearly didn't make it up in the morning. The staff were wonderful, and we will be going back.
