This is a lovely old hotel in the heart of the city. Everything is walking distance. Staff were superb and very kind and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay there and we will stay again next time we are in Breda. The location and the friendly welcome. The staff were very friendly and polite. I was on my own and felt very welcome. great location, right in the center of the city,very kind and helpful staff and very comfortable beds :).
alle vurderinger » Great location, stuff was excellent, and room was clean and tidy. Everything was spot on. Nice hotel in downtown. Near the railway station. Cleaning lady was very nice and polite. Close to the centrum, shopping and the Old Church and many cafe's. Easy to walk to from the train station. Good position in town. The Irish guy in the pub was very helpful. very good location, room are specious and calm. Location was goid. Nice bathroom. the room is comfortable. The location. We had a lovely room on the first night but it was quite noisy because of people walking by and singing at all hours of the night. However, the hotel was really great about this and moved us to a quiet room. it can get a bit noisy during the weekends because of the bars in the area. Accommodation in breda is a bit overpriced. Stairs - weird-like in a dungeon. It said there was wi-fi but the connection was miserable. Since I am a student, I needed it urgently. Very cold in the room - no heating in the end of October in Netherlands?! - come on, have mercy!. the stairs to the rooms. Pillows need pillow cases. The cafe was not open. Steep stairs made getting the luggage to the room a pain, also because of its great location you'll not get much sleep what with all the bars, people shouting on the streets kept me awake till 4.30am every night. No reception desk accessible once check in complete No sitting area in lobby accessible to guests No elevator/ steep stairs Not appropriate for physically challenged persons Website did not give a lot of specifics in regards services of this hotel. Booking in was at Irish bar opposite - on a Monday afternoon was ok but may be off putting on a Saturday afternoon! Also no staff in Hotel. We went in for breakfast at 8.50 and it was put away the girl bought it out again but not happy!. the bins were not emptied and the shower gel not renewed for 3 nights stay. Lack of staff . No lift. Very steep stairs and no lift - not suitable for the elderly or those with heavy bags. Hotel Sutor charged my card twice for the stay, I have sent them the email two days ago asking refund, they do not react. the stairs was very bad. No on site staff at all, very basic decor and furnishing, quite noisy, heating wasn't working on arrival. Access to internet in room very difficult. No possibility to have a bottle of water in the evening/night.
