all was positive even the bill - This hotel is absolutely beautiful - even more so than the pictures indicate! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, services were fantastic, and location was very good.

The garden of the Dar Maktoub is fantastic ! A serene oasis of green, beautiful plantings, wide variety of Palms, flowers, cactus and ferns. Very elegant and large pool space with lots of space to be private in. Main house lodge is well equipped, lovely architecture, very much enjoyed the lounge and fire place. A great base for Agadir. Golf right ... hva folk sier » next door. Last but not least, a lovely dog named Carter who I was ready adopt ! Top that out with very professional staff and good breakfasts. - The hotel has a beautiful, very large swimming pool en neat relaxing furniture around it on which you can relax all day. Beds are huge and comfortable and rooms are spacious enough. We spent three days at the pool (after a week travelling around Marocco) and had no reason to leave the place. Loved it.

It was a heavenly break from rural Morocco. Everything was well done. The food was good and well laid out. The staff were excellent. It was not Morocco-but it was a great place to regroup and reflect on why one may not want to relocate to Morocco. - We had a fantastic time at this resort. This is my second visit in six months and it did not disappoint. It's a wonderful haven of tranquillity . Rooms are spacious and decor very tastefully done .The staff are superb - most helpful and friendly and very smart in their crisp whites. Yassin ,Aschar and Khalid are most accomodating .The spa is small but the treatments are some of the best... hva folk sier » and not overpriced .Pool area is lovely. I look forward to returning again and will reccomend to my friends. I am from hotel background and am usuall - Practically perfect in every way - fantastic rooms (definitely worth getting a sea view to watch the sunset in the evenings), incredible food (there is no reason to go elsewhere to eat - so tasty), lovely staff, short walk to the beach, amazing spa, candles lit in your room and a chocolate left on your pillow every night, lovely pool and poolside service from the staff.
