The staff was really kind and helpfull. The place is very clean and nice, very very good for that price!! We got to use their bikes for free, so we were able to see the views in a larger area. :) Everything is just perfect at Ca Merlo!

On our way back to Italy (after spending a day in Switzerland on Glacier Express), we were looking for a night stay in Tirano to catch the early morning train to Milan. This hotel offered an excellent stay. The guy at reception was excellent. He took care of a booking mistake that we made and upgraded our room as well (can't thank him enough). The location was away from the city center but within walking distance (15 minutes). The proximity to the Basilica and the view from our room was terrific. The staff were extremely helpful and the food was beyond expectations. Our evening meals were exceptional. A really interesting town. -

We loved Il Grappollo. The owner Ivana was the most welcoming, helpful and gracious host. She picked us up from the station at Bianzone and dropped us off at Tirano station the next day to catch the Bernina Line to Seitzerland, a wonderful recommendation. Our room was beautiful. The bed very comfortable. Lovely en suite and the view from our balcony was spectacular, snow capped mountains and sweeping valley views.
