The location was great. Right near the Monti neighborhood and close to the major sites (without being too close). There were some great restaurants (a Tre Scalini was fantastic) and shopping nearby and also a very local feeling. We very easily walked to the Piazza Monti and hung out by the fountain with drinks several nights. Our hosts were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed being pleasantly greeted every time we came back to our room. Wifi was very good, no problems. The room had many conven.
alle vurderinger » I stayed in this hotel with my wife and two daughters for 4 days. The location is perfect for visiting the different sites in Rome. The Colosseum and other nearby attractions is just a 10 to 15 mins. walk from the hotel. Going to Vatican, bus stop for bus #40 is just around the corner. Trevi fountain is also just a 15 min walk from the hotel. The staff Catalina was very helpful. The room was so clean and made up everyday. Wifi is free and fast. Good restaurants are also aplenty in Via del Serpe. Our greeting by katalina was amazing. She took the time to sit down with us and explain and highlight on a map the sights and how to get there including bus and tram numbers. She was super helpful especially as we were only Rome for two days. The room was fantastic, felt brand new, stylish comfortable can not fault it. Also nice to have a wee fridge and kettle! Good recommendation for our airport transfer too. So so so close to lots of the main sights. Room was a great size for the two of us an. The hotel is located in the centre of Rome. The staff were friendly and always wanted to help us with the information about places to visit. When we entered the building where the hotel was located, my friends and me were 99% sure to change the hotel but Dont judge the hotel by its entrance. Moved rooms at one point from a smaller one to larger. Somewhat of a mistake, as that room was loud due to it facing the road. No sign of the hotel on the road or even inside the building and so it is difficult to locate the first time. Nothing worth mentioning. It does not look like a hotel when you enter the building. Elevator was ancient like Rome. The hotel is in the second floor. Would have expected English TV channels. Nothing. Sound of the traffic at night. Wish they provide food or a snack bar etc. No breakfast, wifi powerless ,. The window let a lot of traffic noise through (the room was facing the busy Via Nazionale). parking in the center is not easy, but not impossible :). Road noise may anoy light sleepers. a bit of road noise, but not enough to disturb a good sleeping. We have a terrible experience when one night we came back, the building seem to have so problem with its power. So we can not enter code (no power), also cannot call the hotel by intercom or even by phone. Result: we were locked outside for 2 hours under the rain, that's terrible! Our room is near the street therefore is noisy at night. The room given was so small for a two people. No breakfast included with the price too. Room is not very big.
