Very kind and helpful staff. We were the first having a breakfast in the morning. The buffet table was so beautifully set up that it felt bad to break the symmetry and balance by taking anything. - To find a modern, functional clean and neat hotel in a smal village, it makes a change in Sicily

My my, what a hard review to write. I can tell you now, that these
photos or anything I write here, will not do this hotel justice. If you
are looking at this hotel now however, give yourself a highfive, cause
you have just found a gem. I have pretty much been raised in five star

Do not compare a 5* hotel in Sicily with a 5* hotel anywhere else in the world...Saying that, we had a lovely time despite some flaws, exploring the Etna region and playing golf on the oldest golf course in Sicily nearby (green fee reduction when you stay in the hotel). Make sure to visit Castiglione di Sicilia about 1/2 hr. away. Hotel is in a very quiet area in well kept grounds, perfect for a short break. Good Wi-Fi connection in rooms, but somehow slow speed (as everywhere in Sicily).

When I arrived, very late, Gianny and Rosa had met me and offered me some fresh fruit and a bottle of water, which was very nice after a long travelling. We left a jacket with passports back in Bronte at the previous night's lodging, 40 miles away by bicycle. Rosa volunteered to drive halfway back to retrieve it for us. "At no charge". Besides that exceptional gesture, the room was in a home nearby but by itself. Clean, modern, with a great shower and bed. Rosa's breakfast was stunning, and we enjoyed a wonderful talk with her family.
