Also the hotel is away from the busy tourist 'hot spots' (Rialto / St Marks) whilst remaining in easy reach by foot or vaporetto. The rooms are different sizes, so if you want a larger room, you'll need to pay for it.

  We really enjoyed our long weekend at de l'Alboro. Great location as we were close to the vaporetti stops, not far from San Marco and not at all noisy. The staff were very helpful and gave our young children little gifts (and hot chocolate!). The breakfast buffet had a good choice and we felt very welcome.   A good position, close to the railway station but in an area of Venice which I know well and which is not particularly touristy. The staff were friendly and the room and bathroom very clean.
