Originally booked the mobile home units which did not suit our needs at all so we upgraded to a cabin which was perfect. The lady at the office was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Lovely camping with great views to Florence. The mobile homes are small but enough for a couple. The camping is quiet so is great if you want to rest. Is only 10 minutes far by car from Florence.

The village of Fiesole at this time of year is peaceful and friendly. There are interesting buildings and archaeological remains. There is beautiful countryside around and some good walks, as well as breathtaking views of Florence.. There was a very good exhibition of modern sculpture in the main piazza. This is a lovely old house in a very pretty town in the hills just outside Florence. Its quiet, friendly and comfortable, and the views are simply stunning. I thought this was really good value for money. You can catch a regular bus intot he centre of Florence from just down the road.

It is so quiet at night and cooler than Florence. Dinner on the terrazza overlooking Florence. The antique everything. What better than a stay in a Medici Villa for a visit to Florence! You can buy bus tickets right there and hike up to the road to catch a bus. Nice 20 min walk to Fiesole, or you can take the bus. Coffee on the Terrazza next to the Aurora Hotel in Fiesole is great too. There is no A/C but the large ceiling fan was sufficient. No TV, but who has time to watch tv with all the stu
