The hotel seems generally aimed at business visitors, but also catered for tourist groups. The room was clean and comfortable with a good view across New Delhi. The design of the hotel is modern with interesting features in the bar and coffee area. The Monsoon restaurant was fantastic with very unusual presentation of Indian cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the polenta cubes starter. The hotel is well located within walking distance of India Gate and the National Museum.
There seemed to be insufficient seating capacity for breakfast, as we had to wait for a shared table. While the reception staff were very helpful, one of the coffee shop staff left us with no information and waiting for half an hour when the credit card machine was not working.
The breakfast starts super early and there is even coffee and some bakery in the lobby in case you have to leave before the breakfast start, everybody tries to help you and the staff is very friendly. The gym is decent and they even have a swimming pool.
Staffs replies very promptly. Security level is high. Hotel taxi service is comfortable and safe.
Air conditioning temperature is un-changeable.

Very nice arrangements for executive residents, like happy hour. Restaurants are all excellent but, mild spicy is even too hot for European standards. Otherwise excelent foods and broad selection in all three restaurants.
In the next minutes after arrival in room, immediately room service knocked the door to ask if anything is needed. Although it was kind, it became rather irritating after a few times.

Comfortable rooms though not as plush as one would expect. Most staff happy to help. Buffet breakfast is good.
Doormen do not open doors for guests who are coming out of the hotel. Only one wheel chair in the whole of the hotel. Restaurant and bar on top floor is stuck in a time warp from the 50's.

the staff not the greatest, kid working at the bar tried to tell me the bar closed at 1250AM no idea why to lazy to open a beer? There 24 hour travel center is a joke, some kid sitting at a desk, no brochures or flyers or anything in writing.
Very helpful staff. A lot of different facilities: gym, pool under a sky, working till 8pm, a lot of restaurants, exellent included breakfast.
Avoid to live in this hotel, if you want to see the Delhi, because you risk to stick at the hotel till check-out. (joke)

The staff were friendly and helpful, available 24 hours. The hotel room was always cleaned to perfection. It is located in the heart of Cannaught Place, so the hotel was close to the major shopping areas and tourist destinations. The food was amazing as well. We extended our stay by another week and got the same pricing as our first week. Overall, we will definately stay here on our next trip.
Although a good thing, but they had way too much security at every level of entrance - we stayed for almost 2 weeks, and it became annoying after a while to go through the same checks everyday.

Beware of hidden taxes when you book this hotel. A reasonable looking quote on the booking does not look so good when all the taxes are added for check-out. Restaurant also very expensive.

Located within central Delhi. Rooms are clean, which is the minimum expected from a leading International brand. Some of the staff are service oriented, but not all.
Food in the Chinese restaurant is very bad. Quality of room is very poor. Room interiors are made with cheap mdf materials which gives an ambiance of a 3 star hotel. Quality of most room amenities is very bad. Starwood should definitely look into ensuring Le Meridien international standards in this hotel. You will find some of the leading Indian chain hotels around offering similar prices with way better standards.
It is in the centre of the city. Surrounding is nice and beautiful. Welcome from sikh persons in nice and clean dress is very friendly. You feel like home.
1. As compare to world class hotels very expensive. Counter staff is unfriendly. Food was not according to price what they charge.
