  We have been travelling for four months and have stayed in some wonderful places. Villa Alkener was a highlight of our trip. It has a spectacular view of the Mosel River with boats drifting slowly by and trains meandering around the base of the mountains,. There was a castle view from our back window and the ultimate in fairy-tale castles nearby (... hva folk sier » we cycled then walked until we saw Burg Eltz-wow! Well worth the visit.) You can also take a great 2 hour boat cruise with cake and coffee virtually f - We loved everything about this apartment, We had the top floor with a great view of the river. Off street parking. Large rooms. Very good air conditioning. Really was five star. Great location, half way between Koblenz and Cochem. Easy drive or bus ride or ferry in either direction.
