  I loved the overall cosmopolitan atmosphere. Most of the staff was very friendly and quite helpful. The bathroom was very clean and so were the rooms. The temperature of the room was very nice.   Excellent: Uwe is a really nice guy, very approachable and helpful. My flight was delayed by 2 hours, getting into Cologne at 1am in morning, yet he still stayed up to let me in.   The location was excellent for getting to the city centre, railway station, Cathedral, shops and river. The parking cost on street was very reasonable and by a park within short walk of the hotel. We asked about a Gluten free option for the breakfast and they provided us with GF bread (which is amazing to find in Germany). We were a bit worried about noise since its close to a main road but our room overlooked a small courtyard and it was very quiet. The Breakfast was good. fruit, breads, 2 or 3 types of hams and cheeses, cearals. It is not the fanciest of hotels but it is clean, it is quiet and the breakfast is decent and the staff are very frie
