"Småprimitivt", men hjemmekoselig. En forandring fra moderne "konstruerte" hoteller, dette er en gammel leiegård som er ombygd. Et hotell-"hack" om man vil. :) - The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful. They made my stay in Essen very pleasant. Thanks! - they were very nice and friendly

It's distance to the U-Bahn was perfect! Once you got out of the station all was needed was a couple of minutes and you were at the hotel presto! -

Free wifi. Room was clean as was the bathroom. Shower was excellent, proper power shower. The aero chocolate carpeting throughout was amusing. I would recommend anyone to stay here. We used it as a stopover back to Calais from Berlin and would use it again. Highly recommended... -

10 minutes subway ride from the Essen central station, and 16 minutes ride from Messe (without changing trains). Only a few minutes from the nearest station (Karlsplatz). Quite easy to reach.
