  The location was perfect....right in the middle of the picturesque town square. The ambience and friendliness of staff (most of whom spoke English) was also most welcoming.   Florr rehabilitert bygg i en hyggelig by - This hotel was wonderful. Inside the old city walls, very easy to find! They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Very comfortable bed and a large room. The breakfast was good, and the dinner(not included in the room) in the evening was superb. Rather than move the car in the morning I simply chose to park outside the wall (very close) for free and walk in at night. - We were well greeted and taken care of immediately. The owner and his wife were both so nice. The room was quite large for European standards and very clean. It wouldn't be considered luxury but it worked out just fine for us. Dinkelsbuhl is such a tiny town and even though this is a block or so off the main area the location was just fine and quiet.

Plenty of eating places within walking distance. English is readily spoken. 40 minutes from Rothenberg. Outdoor water activities near by. We had breakfast and dinner and were very pleased with both. Mr Neuhauser helped us with bus bookings and a late checkout after the weather changed our plans.
