  The husband & wife proprietors are very professional & friendly. They make you feel at home. The wife's mother is a baker extra- ordinaire who bakes every morning the best Brötchen and pastries you will find anywhere in Germany. Honest!   We had a wonderful stay at Strauers, on the occasion of one of our rare escapades without the kids. Everybody was so friendly and making sure we were comfortable. The restaurant is great for dinner: nice, cozy setting and especially originality & care in the dishes. Most is seasonal, made with local ingredients. The Breakfast room was amazin... hva folk sier » g, with lots of light, elegantly set table & buffet, and a superb view on the lake. But the best was how the staff made us feel welcome, and look - A wonderful hotel with an excellent hospitality from the owner , reception, restaurant staff. The location is a dream and the style of the hotel makes you to think to go back soon. We will go back soon. We only spent one night but the time we spent in this hotel and the hospitality given was excellent. We reccomed this hotel
