I enjoyed the stay at Excelsior Bochum hotel very much. It is situated outside central city, but there is a subwaystation nearby. There are quiet surroundings. The hotel is family run, and the staff is very friendly. The room was big, like a small appartment, and I did not miss anything. There is also a good italian restaurant adjacent to the hotel

The room I had was quiet and comfortable. It had tea/coffee facilities and fridge so I could keep some of my own food in it. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The location is good as it was across the road from the station. I did not have a chance to eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food quality but the breakfast buffet looked goo
