The staff were absolutely fantastic, and so helpful with everything. The wooded area was very peaceful and beautiful, with the city completely out of sight and sound, yet so near. The breakfast was perfect with a huge variety, and beautifully presented. The room was also meticulously clean and had a very cozy & warm, yet modern feel. I hi - We've been travelling for over three months now and this is the best hotel we've stayed in. The staff were amazing; the rooms were clean and quiet; wifi was reliable; the breakfast was a huge buffet and there was coffee to go. It was great to leave the car in the free carpark and walk the 2km across the Mosel River into Trier - an amazing historical city. For joggers - head up the hill and onto one of the beautiful forest trails. I was lucky enough to have a rare sighting of a badger. Dinner in

  The owner was very nice, our room was spacious and had a big bathroom with a bathtub. It was also in a beautiful small town located in the hills outside of Trier. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to get out of the city and enjoy the hills - Good food - ambitious and comptetent chef.
