But most of all, the Comte who is generous with his time and full of colorful tales recounting his family's history from William the Conquerer through wwii. The Chateau Bouceel will forever embrace a part of you. I will never forget... hva folk sier » it! - The most amazing Chateau in the country. Our host was great and the family history so interesting. Decorated as you would expect in a French chateau. The dining room for breakfast was breath taking. Not far from Mont Mt Michel We would have loved to stay longer. Would go back in a heart break.

  We stayed at 7 different places during our trip and this was by far the most beautiful! And it was the best value for what we paid. The host was welcoming and friendly and helpful in recommending somewhere to eat dinner. And the breakfast was included and included bread and jams, pastries, eggs, juice and coffee. He was warm and welcom - Les Blotteries is in a beautiful property in a lovely setting. We stayed in the former stable with a large loft, which gave our family of four lots of room. Beds were very comfortable. Jean, the proprietor, is very personable and was very patient with my rusty French. He can tell you the WWII history to the property and surrounding area. Les Blotteries is conveniently located about 10 km or so from Mont Saint Michel, but its pastoral, quiet setting was a welcomed relief after dealing with
