It was a great place to stay for what we needed and staff was very
friendly and helpful, price was right, our only complaint was that we
didn't realize it was out of Bayeux approx. 4Kms and we didn't
have a rental car (and there weren't any to rent in town) so we
needed to taxi everywhere and that got a bit pricey.

I can't say enough good things about La Naomath. The setting was
peaceful and beautiful, and just a few minutes' drive to the town
center of Bayeux. The cottage was so cute, roomy, very clean, and
comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable,
even bringing us breakfast on our first morning as we had arrived after
the stores

We liked everything. The owners were very nice and friendly. We stayed
in the family room which was quite large (one large bedroom and a
sitting room). It had one full bath with a shower and another room with
a sink which was helpful. The garden was beautiful. It was very peaceful
and quiet. It was a perfect location for the D-Day sites (you must have
a car). The breakfast was good. Everything was clean and tidy. There was

Loved the whole place from the wonkey staircase to the cracks in the
ceiling. The antique furniture and the feel of the place. We had to

A friendly family run manor house with the owner being very helpful but not 'in your face'. A quiet location but convenient for Bayeux and the Normandy region. The accommodation was quaint rustic French cottage type which added to the character of the place and the visit. A typical rural French manor house. -

sites, the b & b is an old Normandy farmhouse, right out of a

Vincent and his family were so warm and welcoming into their several
hundred year old "fortress". It was beautiful. We are American
but live in Italy and travel a lot for work and leisure. This was one of
our favorite places to stay. From the kindness of the owner, to the
incredible food and decorating, to the beautiful views, (I could go
on)....

Very "country French" -- newly remodeled, private bath, and
charming, comfortable bedroom. Excellent, plentiful breakfast; Vincent
even cooked us eggs and bacon to accompany the smorgasbord. Best thing:

Chambres d'Hotes le Clos de la Croix is a beautiful bed-and-breakfast in a small picturesque village of Carcagny. We were given a warmhearted welcome from the very beginning of our visit - the same feeling stayed throughout the whole visit. The hosts, Gilles and Michael (and beautiful dog Galopin) are just amazing personalities. The room we stayed was spacious and tidy, and we did have our own bathroom with shower and tub.
