Friendly staff who were, for the most part, very helpful. The cooking
was traditional and plentiful. Menu options were easily changed if they
were not suitable. -

Perfect if you seek to escape from crowds. It was great value for money. (especially if compared with Chamonix and Argentieres). The cable car just oposite the hotel takes you to 1900 meters perfect for the untrained walkers, and perfect for those who seek easy panoramic walks with great views on the mont blanc range. Nice indoor pool. English speaking staff. A 10 min walk along the river takes you to the nearby farm/restaurant allowing you to leave the car parked all day.

My two young children had enough space in our clean room at Hotel de la Place, Annemasse. The staff were very helpful and the hotel is close to various eateries + superb play area (C-Aventure in Ville Le Grand) is only a bus away from the hotel!

We arrived late --- 2 am, and the front desk service was absolutely excellent. No problems here. Definitely would recommend without a doubt. Stayed here for a night.

The Palais de l'isle was a wonderful experience, from the helpful and very friendly staff to the immaculately clean room which was overlooking the canal where we could watch the street entertainers from the comfort of our room. If we were returning to Annecy it would definitely be to stay at this hotel.

Being right next to lac Annecy, stunning area, can't wait to go back. Would recommend hiring a pedals and going for a swim, it's apparently the clearest lake in Europe....! Can quite believe it, you could see right to the bottom. -
