  I had a ground floor room overlooking the nice garden which was ideal as I was traveling with my dog-who was made very welcome by the charming owner! The room itself was fine (v comfortable bed), clean and the bathroom more than adequate. The food in the restaurant was first-rate with a good wine list. Note the restaurant is not open on Monday nig... hva folk sier » hts though there is a surprisingly good take-away pizza place a few metres away on the main street. - Made very welcome. Room had a veranda, lovely as weather was good. Plenty of parking spaces. Next to river, lovely but lots of flies - spray delivered to room.

  I liked everything about this delightful place. We arrived later than expected as we took the wrong road & the host was waiting for us.
