  The chateau was in lovely surroundings overlooking a lake. It was in a very peaceful situation and we were able to sit on the lovely outside terrace in the sun. Very accommodating owner who offered lots of advice on places to eat. Superb breakfast with coffee served from the crested family silver!! - Charming 19th century chateau set in huge grou... hva folk sier » nds, very quiet but only a short drive from the A26. Excellent host, a real gentleman. Large modernised bedroom and bathroom, all facilities available. Breakfast not very extensive but good quality.

  This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel, the rooms are impeccable, with everything for your comfort. The interior designer has done a fantastic job everywhere you go in this hotel and I would like to compliment her. This is a really good stop off place when travelling back to the UK. The main restaurent was not open as it was a Monda... hva folk sier » y but the Bistro serves excellent food, and great service. Cannot find anything wrong in this hotel for a short stay. - Lovely room, wonderful food. We ate in the secondary restaurant and had the 'menu'. This was really well presented and absolutely delicious...as was breakfast the next. The staff were friendly and helpful. My good opinion was probably by some of the negative comments on TripAdvisor ..which were very wrong!
