  The staff were brilliant, rooms clean and god value for money. - Friendly staff. Good position for the town. We requested a quiet room and we got it. We were able to pay7 euros for garaging the car which meant it was safe and off the road.

  we've travelled by car (stayed for one night at each city),so it was easy to get to the city center. free parking at the territory. really spacy room and shower. breakfast was good, no pass for wi fi (very fast).   We have stayed here before on our travels through Brittany. It is cheap,45 euros a night, easy to find and there is free parking across the street in a large car park. It is a 10 minute walk to the town centre and a little further to the chateaux. The hotel is situated above a bar/tabac but there is no problem with noise. Our room,no5,was overlook... hva folk sier » ing the street. The room was clean and the bathroom was recently refurbished. Shower was good. Breakfast at 5 euros was only a croissant, bread and so - The very friendly and helpful manager and his staff - he not only showed me where different places were on the street plan he provided, but drove me to church on Sunday morning in his car, because I found the hill too steep and asked him to call a taxi. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the hotel stays open 24 hours so there was no problem when local friends brought me back to Fougeres very late at night There was no problem if I needed to wait for my friends to arrive during the day and I s

  Our hosts, Yannick and Erwann were extremely gracious and welcoming. The Chateau was breathtaking, while still feeling like home. Our hosts were totally renovating the Chateau with their own hands, and doing a magnificent job at maintaining the "period" feeling, with antiques and paintings everywhere. We loved the resident labrador retriever, and ... hva folk sier » the very polite resident cat (both stayed outdoors, but greeted us very graciously). My husband and I were arriving late, and realized that we did not - The chateau is magnificent! The number & quality of genuine antiques and art work has to be seen to be believed! The bedroom is enormous and the bathroom huge, and both are spacious and tasteful. Breakfast, taken in the exquisite lay decorated dining room, was excellent, with a wide selection to choose from, including yummy grapefruit. The location is only 10 mins from downtown Fougeres - a place we grew to like the longer we stayed. Our hosts were very gracious. Our only problem was verbal

  This was an Amazing hotel for an amazing price! Danielle was the friendliest hotel staff person that we have met on any trip we have ever taken!
