Location, which is close to the town centre, was good and also the proximity to the Gorges du Tarn. - Have been staying there for 23 years so obviously like it. it is really close to the Gorges of Tarn and has some amazing surrounding countryside.

  Just about everything, the location next to the river and the places to visit nearby. The walks, the beavers in the river, the countryside. The setup of the place, the tidiness. The nice restaurant/ bar at sunset, but most importantly the owners, fluent in French, English, German and Italian. The new motorhomes provide better comfort than ma - Everything is perfect at Camping Chantermerle. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming, the mobile home we rented was spotless (as the rest of the amenities), and the restaurant on-site is incredible value for money - don't forget to try the pizzas! Our children didn't want to leave. Look no more if you need an affordable, lovely camping area: Chantemerle is the place to go.
