Very nice hotel. I give it 5 stars all around. It seems like one of the more "Chinese" hotels because some of the staff didnt speak much english. There were more locals staying there too. Needless to say I never had a problem communicating what I needed. Great for business travelers. There is a desk in the room with all the supplies you would need. Ask for a room upgrade on a high floor. You might get lucky like I did.
alle vurderinger » As an English speaking traveller, with no Chinese, I found that I was well catered for. They had a Russian girl Julia and a young Frenchman Alex to look after the foreign visitors. Both were very helpful and had good English skills amongst other languages. Location was excellent for railways and shopping. Excellent location in the downtown of Shenzhen, close to huge parks, Exhibition center and shopping malls. Clean and friendly. Fresh seafood served in Star Cafe at the 2nd floor. Staff is very courteous. Hotel is very clean. Gym is very good. Minor details are taken care of. English speaking staff at the reception. Free hi speed internet. Proximity to metro line connecting to major touristic areas, shopping malls and exhibition centers. Friendly and very helpful staff. The rooms were quite comfortable and clean. Good spread of breakfast, however vegetarian was hard to get. Excellent location, metro from airport only 200 yards. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Hassle to extend room for extra night. Because of our late check in rooms had been given away, restaurant was very poor, took over an hour for 5 meals. Staff and service very poor. Also the photos used are photshopped. There is no gym. The time taken for Check in and check out was more than desired. there is another hotel in shenzhen with the same name. Two hotels with similar name in similar location - caused endless trouble. 1.one of my colleagues was brought to wrong hotel 2. customers looked for us at wrong hotel 3. very difficult to get taxi drivers to understand that it's this - not that - hotel - extra cost - getting stuck in traffic because they had to go back - lots of time lost - being dropped off in the middle of the street 2 blocks down the road !!! NOT GOOD!. Cockroach in the room :((. Missed a good coffee, few variarity of bread, quality of cleaning is chineese standard just superficially no deep or shinning cleaning, towells had old gaderobe smell. Single glass windows, high street noise in 8th floor room. Bathroom needs deep cleaning, no rails for towels. Low performance and not well maintained coffe machine in breakfast area. Rooms are not that clean. Beds and bathrooms are not very clean. Room make up is not tidy A bit expensive. smoke smell in room.
