The staff is exceptional -- all spoke English, even the maid. All wentout of their way to be friendly and helpful and gracious. We added on ahalf day, since our flight didn't leave til evening, and the maid camein and made up the room with fresh towels and everything while we wereat lunch. very good location, close to the fair - They knew it was my birthday and sent me a card! The chocolates, newspaper, free welcome drink... the small little things were nice touches. Outdoor swimming pool was lovely. Steam room worked well.

Very cool hotel! Great design, very comfortable, lovely staff, good restaurants, very good spa and facilities (gym and swimming pool). Good to know that the hotel is located in the highest building of the city and has a view (face to face) to the Canton Tower and the pearl river (and basically all the city, since the lobby is on the 70th floor and the hotel goes until the 100th).

The hotel is really good. We had free upgrade of a delux room to Diplomatic Suit. we were extremely happy. The room is hudge and nicely decorated. The views from the rooms are really nice.

I loved everything about Shangri-La; although abit on the expensive side but worth it. The hotel is the grandest I have ever visited, the service is excellent and has lived up to its 5-star status. Loved every minute of it and cant wait to re-visit. -
