I arrived really late at night, which was very scary in such a busy city, however when i got there the man on the desk made me feel so much at ease and was so welcoming! The location is also great walking distance to most things! -

3) individual bathroom on the 2nd floor was really good because I was able to prepare myself without being interrupted by other patrons

The Staff was really friendly and they help me with everything I needed. The Hostel is well organised and clean. They have a lot of activities going on. But at the same time, they are able to keep the hostel calm, so you can choose or join the activities or resting in your room. It is a really good place to be.

The staff was awesome. The reception staff, kitchen staff, cleaning staff, all so friendly. It was clean, and the hotel is near the station, and very close to the famous Chapel Street (Restaurants/Shopping)

It is not a luxury hotel and is at the lower end of the price scale, but it is excellent for what it was. The place was kept immaculately clean and the staff were assiduous and very helpful. They were extremely good in serving breakfast, which was another bonus, and the front desk team were very friendly and accommodating. I thought this hotel superb value. It is right beside South Yarra Metro station, which has very frequent service 6 minute to and from the central part of Melbourne.

Good standard hostel is really good value and in a great location near (one block back parallel to esplanade) Apollo Bay and within easy reach of some of the best sights on the glorious Great Ocean Road, owner/manager very helpful and knowledgeable and told me road to use to see koalas sleeping in the trees - and they were right there, fab! -

Location is the winning factor, hostel is in the heart of Mel CBD. Just a short walk from Southern Cross Station. All the staff is friendly & helpfull, allowed me to check in early. I enjoyed the free pancakes on sunday morning when i arrived - TQVM ALL

The location, so close to St Kilda beach & shops. Only 10 or so mins by tram to Melbourne city centre. Being a backpackers', it was cheap, but comfy & very friendly. We only needed a bed & place to leave our luggage, so it suited us well. Rooftop BBQ, smokers' area. Cheap, but good breakfast around the corner. -

Great very close to train station walking distance. Cheap price. Rooms where clean and shear bathroom was good had a few showers and toilets didn't have to wait for shower in the morning. -
