  While we were at Hawley House there was only one other couple visiting. This gave us an experience of indulgent pampering. It feels very special to have an excellent chef cater for so few. We had a delightfully comfortable room, with magnificent views of the sea, the grounds and the surrounding countryside. We had no idea that there was a nature r... hva folk sier » eserve within the grounds. That came as a massive bonus. Did I mention the cuisine? It was excellent! Each meal was an education in flavours, textures - The house and gardens are beautiful and in a lovely position close to the beach. We loved the decor, especially in the bedroom. Although we only had breakfast the quality of the food was excellent. The staff were exceptionally helpful. We really wished we could have stayed longer.

  I loved the way we were treated even before meeting the owners, we arrived in Devonport on a shocker of a morning with 6hrs to fill in before we could occupy our unit,rang the owners Sue & Keith & they said come now & don't worry about waiting till the 2pm check in, they are very friendly & go out of their way to be Sooooo helpful.... hva folk sier » Keith is even cooking us a 3 course meal for our last night here. You are treated like family & made most welcome, would definitely recommend Sai - Cleanliness of the unit , breakfast items, as we had a long trip and only had to get up next morning and breakfast was there. The chocolates were a nice touch, private, hassle free relaxing.

  Great homely feel to it! The owners where so lovely!! The bed was super comfy and the bed warmer where wen out in for us!! Beautiful location as well!!! 10 out of 10 for me - we were made very welcome and were looked after very well they are realy nice people we will recomend this B&B to all our freinds it was the best one we stayed in
