The peace, especially poolside as no children are allowed as guests.
We have never stayed in Macrossan St on our previous 6 visits to Port as thought it would be noisy. Not so and an ideal location to walk to everywhere we wanted to go.

The staff were friendly and gave a full tour/explanation of the facilities and took us to our room on arrival. Food and drink available to order by the pool which made for a great relaxing stay. Awesome breakfast included. Love the no under 16yo rule and will be back.

The location is the best in Port Douglas. The rooms and facilities are luxurious and very comfortable. We stayed in a penthouse suite and couldn't have been happier. Excellent location right in the heart of main street, with shops and restaurants a short stroll from the apartment. Apartment was very comfortable and clean, and perfect for a relaxing stay. Host was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Anne, the host was, very welcoming and was very very helpful with advice regarding eating, shopping, tours etc plus explaining all the things available at the Freestyle Resort. The room had everything we wanted to make our stay comfortable. It was only a block away from CBD which meant it was quiet and also there was a short forced exercise/walk every time we wanted to go somewhere which was good.In summary! A good all rounder.

Sheryl and Bob are excellent hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them
and they are always willing to have a chat and pass on their experience
of port Douglas and the activities in North Queensland.
The room is enormous! Lovely king sized bed. Good lounge and dining facilities. The hot Tub on the balcony was an unexpected bonus.
The pool area is very nice although there are some quite big and unexpected drops in the pool floor levels.
Regal is ideally placed 25m off Macrossan St. It is a 3

The room was fantastic and the people were very friendly. The dinner and service at the restaurant was well above what was expected, absolutely beautiful. The spa on the roof was checked and turned on every morning and they even check and clean the BBQ for you. We will definitely be going back. -

Lovely outlook from bedrooms onto tropical pools/plants area. Water trickling feature was a lovely sound as well as bird song in trees. Kitchen facility area outside was novel. Pool area was also lovely. Washing facility was a real bonus. -
