  Mantra had entered the wrong dates into my booking. When I contacted them (after my stay) with the error, they immediately refunded the difference that I'd had to pay for the upgraded room.   Location is very good, close to South Bank and City centre but in a quiet area. Apartment was clean, well equipped and with free wi-fi we could find and book what we wanted in Brisbane ( including the internet booking of city cycles that can then be taken from the cycle stand at the park, across the road .) I appreciated the ashtrays on the balcony and that the staff didn't play shame-the- smoker. I only spoke to the gentleman at the desk, but can't remember his name - sorry! But thanks for a lovely albeit short stay. I also liked the parking and that we weren't charged an arm and a leg for it.

Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast at the recommended street cafe was vast and best value I had in whole 3 week trip. Although this isn't in centre of Brisbane it is ideally located.

  I have stayed in 4and 5 star hotels which would not rate as well as South Central. Design, decor and layout were excellent. A bonus also is the rooftop pool. I was fortunate to be upgraded to a larger apartment which would have been wonderful had I been travelling with company. Kitchenette, wardrobe, microwave etc etc. The bathroom was perfect. The staff were helpful. Check in and early leaving was easily arranged. The room was very clean.   Excellent location, within walking distance to Brisbane CBD AND BRISBANE SOUTHBANK AREA.. reasonable price and the facilities are very comfortable and within our expectation.   I requested a room with a view as this was a special occasion. The room had a great view overlooking the river and park across the street. Most probably one of the best stays I have had in a hotel. The facilities were great and everything was clean and in a working order.
