Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise are each a 30-minute drive away. The air-conditioned rooms feature a 32-inch flat-screen TV, a refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms also boast a private balcony or patio offering lovely ocean or river views. Guests can relax in the sauna, or enjoy a game of billiards in the games room. The resort also offers a guest laundry and luggage storage facilities. A convenience store is also located on-site as well as a restaurant, open for buffet breakfast each day.

Loved the location and free in-house movies for rainy days (most hotels, even the posh ones charge extra for movies, which I think should be an inclusion. Staff members at poolside (Eddy and a young bloke) and reception (Troy) were excellent, informative and very helpful. Pool n Jacuzzi clean. Breakfast was fair. Hashbrowns, quiche were spot on. Didn't expect much based on previous reviews, hence pleasantly surprised. Rooms clean and housekeepers friendly. Even has a self serve coin laundromat!.

The staff were friendly and helpful at all times Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable A buffet breakfast was provided in our package. This made the deal very economical as we are pensioners The Motel was situated close to all facilities we wished to access. We would recommend Greenmount Beach Resort to any of our family or friends. Loved the location! Across the road from the beach and a few minutes walk from the shops! Hotel was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast was great! Views from the hotel were lovely too! Also liked the free access to movies that you got in the room.....Oh and price was very reasonable to stay there too!! Would definately stay there again!. The rooms were very neat and tidy. The beds and linens were very clean and very comfortable. It was lovely to have a television in a motel room that worked without any problems and a clear picture...I Know doesn't sound much but when you have kids that want to watch tv while waiting around it means a lot. As usuall the staff were great, the location and weather perfect and as allways Greenmount Resort is great value for money!! We go there 3 or 4 times a year and its great to see the renovations that are unfolding, each time we turn up something new has been done :). Friendly staff on check-in, the beds seemed new, nice comfy and clean, the fixtures were old and run down but for what you pay it was ok. The restaurant was great - good service, nice food and plenty for breakfast. Its budget but very clean and comfy. great top floor room with great ocean views, new carpet and furniture comfy bed, good balcony great location to beaches and cafes and shops. Staff were able to give us 3 nights in ocean view whereas online we had to book 2 nights ocean and one river. The Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. When I arrived late it was so wonderful to be greeted by a happy and smiling face. The facilities were excellent and would recommend it to fellow travellers. We had a room that had been refurbished, thank goodness. The fifth floor. Apparently just been finished the week before. A family room with a queen size bed & 2 singles, so quite roomy for 2 people. the location was very good the staff very friendly and helpful the breakfasts were good the rooms were clean and comfortable great price overall very good value for money. the cost , the breakfast ,the spa pool and sauna , the view , the staff( very helpful) the location ,the room we were allocated (804) might go for the sunny side next time. Its location and proximity to beautiful beaches and fantastic walking tracks. .The standard room was a good size and very clean and comfy. The breakfast was yummy. The staff was very nice and friendly, it was just a nice comfortable stay. the all you cna eat breakfast was also very good. I would recommend stay here. Mother and daughter travelling together we found it was a lovely peaceful setting, with friendly helpful staff, and was close to all the amenities. Breakfast was good value, We stayed at the Green Mount Resort as it was handy to Twin Towns club where we were booked to see a show. Excellent value for money. There were a lot of renovations taking place. The pool was closed but it was close to the beach. close to beach and surf club we only stayed over nite and left early morning.Good value for money would stay there again. While the hotel was definately clean, the bathroom could do with a bit of an update. Was a bit disappointed that they said the pool would be ready to use by the 20th November, however, after we had booked and arrived there, found out that pool would not be ready until December. Felt that that should've been reflected on the website before hand. Still, the beach was right over the road :-). When walking the halls to get to the room there was a funny smell coming from the carpets in the hallways don't know if that was from the carpet being shampooed or whether somehow the carpets had gotten wet during the storms we had that weekend but it wasn't pleasant I couldn't wait to get into the room because the smell disappeared once we were in the room. Disappointed the pool was out of commission and no in house movies on the last 2 days we were there :( It would have made more sense to rectify these things in the off season. the parking, there wasn't much. pool needed cleaning (bits of bark etc probably due to kids climbing from garden into pool slide) still an older style could do with new bathrooms etc but great affordable accommodation. That I did not get to stay there long enough. Covered car parking would be a bonus. When we pulled up out the front of Greenmount, it looked so old, which it is, but they are refurbishing. the stanadard rooms decor is a bit tired and dated and the bathrooms need modernising but for the price you couldnt expect much more but my nephew and his wife stayed in a spa suite and that was very nice it is the only place I have stayed where had to pay $20 deposit to get a hairdryer from reception most places have them in the rooms even if they are attached to the wall so they cant be taken. having spray paint cover our clothes ,shoes and coffee when unit above was being sprayed . We didn't like leaving. the bathrooms need a make over and the pool wasnt open when we stayed. The lift was a little aggressive. Had to park our car in the Surf Club car park. More maintenance of gardens and outdoor areas from room however realise in refurbishment stage atm including pool. The deck chair by the poolwere uncomfortable. Pool & Spa areas appear either neglected or under renovation. The night staff had no idea how the new TV remote worked and told us to "just push all the buttons till you find what you want" when we were trying to find the inhouse movies. Very hard and uncomfortable couch in the room!. A/C Unit played up. A few stairs in the room. A little difficult if you have mobility issues. Not all rooms are like this and another room was available on request. Would definitely stay there again though. Our TV played up a bit. Our sink taps didn't work properly, Odour from drainage hole in toilet, Toilets around function rooms near pool smelt bad, Drawers alongside bed had not been cleaned for ages, Room beneath 507 airconditioner was very loud, We were not notified of ongoing painting of building prior to coming and could smell fresh paint. TV is too small. I can't identify anything that I didn't like with my one night there. The bathroom was in need of a refresh. I didn't like that ro service entered our room without permission while we were in there. Not enough Parking and at the exit to the hotel there is no signage to say it is a one way st you are exiting into so I turned into oncoming traffic ( I guess that is Councils issue and not the hotels). Bed springs very lumpy. leaving. The rooms are a little dated and need to be modernised. However, they were clean. Not enough car park space, but plenty of off street parking. This may not always be the case in the future. Resort is a little warn but they seem to be renovating.Unfortunately the drilling(Fri/Mon/Tues) which went on was in close proximity to our room(408) and was very noisey as was the traffic going up Greenmount Hill and the Backpakers accommodation on the other corner from the surf club.Probably would not return. The Resort Pool needed a good clean and the pool area in general needs a bit of work. Rooms are a bit tired and could do with upgrading. Used to paying my bill at the end of a stay not when checking in. I would have like to have been informed of that fact before hand. The noise from the club down the road was very loud. I heard it on the 8th floor. The decor is a bit tired. Not enough car space. Not much parking.
