  Reception staff - very friendly at each encounter. I was welcomed with unsolicited suggestions and free maps - very nice touch you would normally only see in a small country town. I am not that fussy but . . . I find dry irons in hotel rooms very frustratingly ineffective and a statement of mistrust. Breakfast buffet was very, very reasonably priced - didn't feel any urge to over-eat just to get my mone - My wife fell and broke her arm 3 hours after we arrived; I was diagnosed with DVT 3 days later. We had to extend our stay by 3 days as doctopr would not allow me to drive home. Staff was very helpful indeed in finding another room for us for 3 days even though the hotel was heavily booked. Could not speak more highly of the staff. Also good to be able to have dinner brought to our room.

We were there when a school group was also staying there, but because of the size of the resort, we didn't hear a peep out of them all night long.   I had a note on my file that I liked the apartment that we stayed in last time and would prefer it for future bookings. I was kindly rang by a staff member to let me know that room was not available as it was a two bedroom apartment I had booked a one bedroom apartment. We were very happy with the apartment and we will be returning in about 3 weeks for another stay in C - The apartment was clean, spacious and the view was spectacular! We were so close to all the places we wanted to visit Parliment House, The War Memorial and Shopping in the City. The Staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was a problem. The swimming pool area looks nice, but not the weather to try it out. The location to all the things you want to do and the CBD was excellant. - All the dishes and utensils were supplied.
