Both my son and I had a wonderful stay at The Robert Treat Hotel. The staff was beyond helpful!! Gave us great advice on the best ways to get around, there was a free shuttle to Newark penn that picked us up for free at almost 2 am, the guards on the night shift went out of their way to show us the roof patio ( under their supervision!!!) even though it was about to be locked up for the night, and the ladies who set out the breakfast meal were so kind- no weird looks for my strange food requests and pajama clad self, and without even asking they helped me car

Great location fro forays into New York. Just 20 minutes from Newark airport. About 20 minutes from New york City. You could easily dump the car and use the PATH train to go into the City of New York for just $2.50. The trains are clean and on time. The staff were helpful. It was walking distance from the City Centre

Size of room and facilities in room. Staff friendly and helpful, my sister and i stayed a week and nothing was too much. Breakfast was busy but grand. Close to Path train - 5 minute walk not 15 as in other reviews. 2 stops to great shopping at Newport and 10 mins to World Trade Centre. Room spotless, housekeeping came in every day. ViP diner on main street fab. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Excellent, clean, comfortable and very quiet room for a very reasonable
price. Very close to all terminals of Newark International.
Unfortunately not enough time to check out pool. Certainly best place to
stay if you need to be close to Newark Airport. Very quick check-in,
despite arriving with a bus full of people from airport. -

Ruime kamer, goed sanitair. Uitstekende verbinding met Manhattan - Dicht bij het vliegveld vijf min met de taxi. Neem geen taxi bij hetvliegveld gelijk. Wij waren 20 dollar kwijt voor een ritje van 5 min.Perfect voor als je laat aankomt of vroeg weg moet.

The kitchen was great, had all the dishes and things you could need,
even a dishwasher. They also sold frozen entrees in the lobby, which I
appreciated very much when I arrived in the evening, quite tired and
wanting to just eat something simple in my room. The staff were all
super friendly, and there was a great breakfast served every day.

We are moving from Princeton to California. We had to deal with our
household being shipped by movers, and then we had to clean up our home
for the new buyers. We had never stayed at Sonesta and it was a pleasure
and relief to go there after a hard day's work to relax. Pretty
soon, I started telling my husband, "Let's go home (Sonesta)
now." Breakfast was wonderful not to have to worry about where to
eat. We will look for Sonesta whenever we travel. I think the price was
higher than we had want

I would often stop at the little restaurant in the evenings inside the hotel to have a bite to eat, which I was greatful for being open late!
