  The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is just 2 blocks from the ferry port so if your stuck like we were in leaving the car on the main land you can walk leisurely. This hotel had us a wheelchair to use which saved our vacation since the ferry service is inadequate - The staff was welcoming. They could not do enough for you.   The atmosphere and character were unsurpassed. It was great to spend the day out and about and relax in the pool or Hot Tub. It was the first guesthouse I've been to that you could practically spend the whole time there. The staff was warm and the walk through the facility and explanation of the amenities was very useful. I already booked a room for the same weekend next year! - The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Our room was on the small side but had a large private terrace which was lovely. The bathroom had a large spa bath ! Wine and cheese events were fun - I would even say a real hoot one afternoon. Everything was clean - and even had free parking.
