  When I booked, I mentioned that I am disabled, but forgot to specify a ground-floor. When I called the hotel a couple of days before we arrived, they were VERY accommodating to put us on the first floor, two doors down from the office. Fantastic!! And, facing a busy street with a LOT of loud vehicles and sirens, it was a WELCOME to discover we cou... wat mensen zeggen » ldn't hear any of it when the door was closed. - Staff very helpful. Room spacious (we were a family of 4 with 2 older teens), bathroom recently renovated we think, free parking and only 25 minute walk to Union Station, excellent value for money for a family visiting the Capital City on a budget.

  Once we upgraded to a bigger room we were much more comfortable. Two people could fit in the room that had two queen beds in the room. the staff was amazing and so helpful.

  It was nice and easy to pull our car right in off the street and be assisted by someone right away who brought in our luggage and parked our car. We got to the hotel earlier than check-in time and at first there wasn't a room ready, but a very nice gentleman at the front desk got us into a room within minutes. Loved the free Wifi, the flat-screen TV, the very comfy bedding, nice chair and small couch to relax on, the location of the hotel (right - The location of the hotel was excellent - close to shops and restaurants. The bus stop for the conference center is right outside thd hotel - an added bonus as was the free wifi. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, making it a great stay, even for a single female traveller on business. I'd definitely stay again.

  As a mom traveling with 2 children, we REALLY enjoyed our stay at The Baron Hotel. Dwight, the front desk wizard, was friendly, helpful, and so great with the kids. The location is in a very safe area which is easily accessible from public transit. It is an older hotel, but this added to its charm rather than detract from it. The staff at the restaurant/bar were so nice , gave us ice in our cooler every time we needed with no problem at all. Loved the 4 days we spent there. Would stay again in a heartbeat!   I was really surprised that this is a 3* hotel, in my opinion it's definitely worth more than that. Great location, near a choice of bars & restaurants on DuPont Circle. Every member of staff we met was so friendly & went out of their way to make us feel welcome & an extra fuss was made of the fact we were on honeymoon.   In short: Everything. The amazing, well-kept house, the individually composed breakfast and the great location gives you the feeling that you are staying in a 5-star hotel. On the other hand the great, personal service (that included in our case giving us, as first time visitors to Washington, extensive tips and helping us find a parking space for... wat mensen zeggen » our car) makes you feel like you are staying with close friends. While Washington is obviously a great place and worth another visit, we will come ba - The visit at Ledroit Park Renaissance Bed and Breakfast Was amazing! The room we stayed at was very good with comfortable beds. The couple that host us was really nice and even checked what kind of breakfast we would love to eat. They helped us with where to go in dc And by the end they took us to the bus station because we had a lot of luggage. Also the place is close to the train station. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay
